Women's Junction and Business Junction hold joint breakfast networking events, where companies and individuals meet over a continental breakfast and coffee, usually hosted at one of our member establishments. Generally, about 25 business people attend each breakfast.

The format allows each business one minute to introduce themselves, explain what services and goods they offer, and to identify one or two companies they would like to target locally.

After each business has made its short presentation, any referrals, recommendation, contact details or introudctionn offers to potential new business clients aremade at this stage.

Afterwards, more coffee is served and informal networking takes place for 30 minutes or so.

Our breakfasts are still lively and friendly, but with perhaps a more focused and intimate approach than other events. The mix of people constantly changes, so you are not meeting the same faces every time. We also do not operate a 'one member per sector' rule, so you meet a range of potential new suppliers.

Friendly, lively, colourful and fun - but still with the focus firmly on finding new business opportunities from around the mix of female business women, directors, managers, entrepreneurs and professionals.

Held at fine restaurants and interesting locations, such as art galleries and beauty parlours, lunch is always in a buffet style, where there are plenty of dishes for every taste and dietary requirement. We also offer a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink alternative.

At each lunch, we invite one or two businesses to make a brief presentation, focussing on their background and experience, and the lessons they have learned along the way.

The rest of the time, usually 2 hours in total, is taken up with informal networking, with the emphasis on encouraging new relationships from whcih new business deals or contacts can arise.

The Women's Junction occasional programme of special evening events for women only complements the regular social and networking events organised in partnership with Business Junction. Membership of Women's Junction affords you and your company full benefits of Business Junction membership and that means you and a colleague from your firm can enjoy our evening events for free.

The joint Business Junction events bring together between 80-350 business people in a bar or restaurant, with free drinksand canapes. You will find a wide range of representives of the local and wider business community, all coming together to exchange business cards, stories, information, leads and, in many cases, immediate offers of advice and work.

The Women's Junction women-only events are a chance for our business women members and guests to let their hair down and relax amongst friends. With music, canapes, drink and a goodie bag to take home, no-one goes home without having made new friends and contacts.
